Finger Paint or Pintadedos to do at home

Young children love to draw and if they can do it with their hands using finger paint, which in Venezuela we know as graffiti, they like it better.

It is a very fun activity for children when they are at home, ideal for rainy days and if you do not have finger paint from what they sell in stores, you can prepare it as it is very easy and simple.

To prepare it is only required, 3 cups of water, 1 cup of flour, food coloring of various colors, a saucepan and as many containers to put the paint as colors you use.

The water is boiled in a saucepan, it is removed from the stove and the flour previously dissolved in a little cold water is added, stirring constantly, it is put back to the fire so that it boils again and is well mixed by space of about a minute Finally, the food coloring is added and mixed well.

If you want the paint to have a bright touch you can add a tablespoon of glycerin. And if you want to give it texture you can add half a cup of liquid dishwashing soap.

Use the paint while it is still warm. For the rest you will only need sheets of white paper and let your children use their creativity by painting with their hands and even with their feet.

If you have paint left you can store it in the refrigerator and then heat it to use it again.
