Children's yoga, a beneficial practice for children

Yoga is a discipline that children can practice since they are young. Without knowing it, as if it were a game, it helps to stimulate their psychomotor development, to improve balance and to help relaxation. It's fun, it helps them express themselves and the postures are the most natural. For all this, Children's yoga is a beneficial practice for children.

It is more than advisable if they also practice it together with one of the parents, an opportunity to share hobbies and get to know their children better.

However, children's yoga is not the same as that practiced by adults. Even babies can do it, but it is after approximately four years when the child begins to be more aware of the practice, concentration and postures. With the children more postures are made and less time is maintained, in turn, the meditations are shorter.

At first, small breaks are made to relax and recover breathing after performing an exercise, then gradually adopt the resting position (savasana) to relieve tensions and reassure the spirit.

It is important to take into account some tips for children to practice yoga, such as dressing comfortably, taking it as a game and never as an obligation and practicing it regularly and consistently to report benefits.

To start, you can practice together 15 easy positions to perform. Simple figures such as forward bending, cobra, dog and cat stretching will help you enter the world of children's yoga.
