A craft at home: make a decorative object with stackable liquids

In addition to an exercise in science, what Bruspup proposes is to build a decorative object based on stacking liquids. As each liquid has a different density all occupy their space inside the container and do not conflict.

To build the object it is necessary to have an empty bottle and a cup to measure the capacity of the liquid to be poured into the container. The liquids that appear in the video are dark corn syrup, dishwashing liquid, water (colored to make the contents more fun), vegetable oil and alcohol to which food coloring can also be added to encourage decoration.

The process, as seen in the video, is simple. The first thing is to know the capacity of the bottle because the objective is to divide the total capacity by the number of liquids to be used to know how many layers are to be stacked. You can also play with the size of the layers to make the sculpture more attractive.

I think it's a craft that requires the presence of an adult although it doesn't seem too difficult to reproduce at home. We encourage you to do it and of course you have to be very careful so that then nobody spills it or hits it.

The channel in which I obtained the video, via Microsiervos, is from Brusspup, who was born, he says on his Facebook, on November 30, 1999 and is delighted to make videos that he shares on his YouTube channel for his almost 500,000 subscribers and almost 180 million views. In addition, his physics lessons, like this one, encourage him to keep track of him as a science popularizer.
